How to Add Products to an Invoice?

The POS system allows you to add products in two ways: barcode scanning or manual entry.


1. Adding Products via Barcode Scanning

✅ Easy Steps:

1️⃣ Click on the Scan Mode icon from the side menu.
2️⃣ Point the barcode scanner at the product's barcode.
3️⃣ The product details (price, quantity) will automatically appear on the invoice.

✅ Advantages:

  • Speed: Add dozens of products in minutes.
  • Accuracy: Avoid errors in prices or product names.
  • Instant Updates: The total quantity and taxes (VAT) are automatically calculated.

✅ Adjusting Quantity:

  • ➕ Use the plus button to increase the quantity.
  • ➖ Use the minus button to decrease it (or remove the product if needed).

2. Manual Entry If Scanning Fails

📌 When to Use It?

  • If the barcode is damaged or unreadable.
  • If the product doesn’t have a barcode (e.g., handmade products).

✅ Steps to Add Manually:

1️⃣ Click on Add Manual.
2️⃣ A small window will appear → Enter the barcode number manually.
3️⃣ Click Add to display the product on the invoice.


Important Notes!

  • Live Invoice Updates: With every addition (barcode or manual), the total updates automatically.
  • Taxes & Discounts: If a discount or tax applies, it will be calculated on the invoice automatically.
  • Fixing Errors: You can remove or edit a product’s quantity before payment.

Practical Example

🔹 If a customer buys 3 units of a product:
1️⃣ Scan the barcode once → Quantity will be set to 1.
2️⃣ Press ➕ twice → The quantity becomes 3.
3️⃣ Made a mistake? Press ➖ to adjust the number.
