How to Add, Edit, or Delete a Product?

Here’s a quick guide to managing your store’s products effortlessly:


1. Adding a New Product

✅ Steps:

  • Click New Product.
  • Fill in the basic details:
    • Name: (e.g., "Full Cream Milk").
    • Selling Price: (price for customers) & Purchase Price (your cost).
    • Category: (e.g., Dairy Products, Groceries).
    • Tax: (e.g., 15%).
    • Description: (e.g., "Fresh Milk 1 Liter").
    • SKU: (Unique product identification number).
    • Barcode: (Scanning code).
    • Warehouse: Select the storage location.
    • Initial Quantity: (Current available stock).
    • Reorder Limit: (Minimum quantity before restocking, e.g., 10 pieces).
    • (Optional) Upload a product image.
  • Click Add to save the product.

2. Editing an Existing Product

✅ Steps:

  • From the product list, click the pencil icon ✏️ next to the product.
  • Modify any details (e.g., price, quantity, description).
  • Click Save to update.

3. Deleting a Product

✅ Steps:

  • From the product list, click the trash bin icon 🗑️ next to the product.
  • Confirm deletion → Yes.
  • ⚠️ The product will be permanently removed from the system!

4. Practical Example

📌 If you want to add Orange Juice:

  • Name: Natural Orange Juice.
  • Selling Price: SAR 10.
  • Category: Beverages.
  • Barcode: 123456789.
  • Initial Quantity: 50.
  • Reorder Limit: 10 (The system will notify you when stock reaches this level).

  • Attractive Images: Add clear product images to attract customers.
  • Update Prices Regularly: Especially during promotions.
  • Monitor "Reorder Limit": To avoid running out of essential products.
