How to Easily Configure Your System

Whether you own a retail store or a restaurant/cafe, your Point of Sale (POS) system can be customized to fit your business. Here’s a simple step-by-step guide:

Before You Start: Ensure You Have

  • ✅ Admin access to the system.
  • ✅ Your business details ready (e.g., store name, address).
  • ✅ A stable internet connection (to avoid setup interruptions).

Step-by-Step Setup

1. Access Company Settings

  • Log in using your admin account (username and password).
  • From the main dashboard, click the ⚙️ Settings icon.
  • Select Company Information from the menu.

2. Choose Your Business Type

  • On the "Company Information" page, locate the Top Category dropdown.
  • Select one of the following:
    • Retail: If you sell physical products (e.g., clothes, electronics).
    • Food & Beverage (F&B): If you serve food or drinks (e.g., restaurant, café).

3. Save Changes

  • Double-check your selection.
  • Click Save to confirm.

What Happens After Configuration?

Based on your selection, you’ll unlock industry-specific features:

If You Choose Retail:

  • 🏷️ Barcode Scanning: Speed up checkouts by scanning product barcodes.
  • 📦 Inventory Management: Get low-stock alerts and detailed reports.
  • 📊 Sales Analytics: Track best-selling products and peak sales hours.
  • 🛒 E-commerce Sync: Automatically update inventory across online and offline channels.

If You Choose Food & Beverage (F&B):

  • 🪑 Table Management: Organize orders by tables and floors.
  • 🍔 Order Modifiers: Add/remove ingredients (e.g., "no onions").
  • 👨🍳 Kitchen Display Screen: Send orders directly to the kitchen.
  • 🧾 Split Bills: Divide payments for group orders.
  • 📅 Reservation System: Manage table bookings and send reminders.

Important Tips

  • ❗ Choose Carefully: You can’t change the category later without contacting support.
  • 🔄 Test Features: Explore the new tools after setup (e.g., kitchen screens).

Practical Example

If you run a café, choosing F&B will enable:

  • Adding coffee types (e.g., espresso, cappuccino).
  • Splitting orders for dine-in, takeaway, or delivery.
