General Settings

The General Settings feature in the Centric System allows administrators and authorized users to configure and maintain core company details. This setup ensures that business information is consistent across all modules including Sales, Inventory, Purchase, POS, Logistics, Accounting, and Reporting.


Purpose

The General Settings section is designed to:

  • Store essential company information.
  • Standardize details used across modules.
  • Provide a single source of truth for company identification.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations (e.g., ZATCA in Saudi Arabia).

Key Fields and Their Functions

  • Allows uploading a company logo.
  • Appears on invoices, reports, and POS receipts.

2. Company Name (Required)

  • Official registered company name.
  • Used across documents and reports.

3. Email (Required)

  • Official contact email.
  • Used for communication, notifications, and invoice sharing.

4. Phone Number

  • Primary contact number.
  • Supports country code selection.

5. VAT Number

  • Registered VAT identification number.
  • Used for compliance and tax reporting.

6. CR Number

  • Commercial Registration (CR) number.
  • Required for businesses in Saudi Arabia and similar regions.

7. Address

  • Official physical address of the company.

8. City & State

  • Location details for proper regional identification.

9. Postal Code

  • Postal/ZIP code for accurate addressing.

10. Company Main Category (Required)

  • Defines the broad industry category (e.g., F&B, Retail, Services).
  • Helps classify company type for reporting.

11. Company Category

  • Specific business type (e.g., Supermarket, Pharmacy, Restaurant).
  • Provides detailed classification within the main category.

12. Country (Required)

  • The country of business registration.
  • Ensures compliance with country-specific regulations.

13. Website

  • Company’s official website URL.
  • Useful for digital communication and branding.

Actions

  • Save: Stores all entered details and updates them across all modules.
  • Upload/Remove Logo: Add or remove company logo as required.

ZATCA Settings

The ZATCA Settings feature in the Centric System is specifically designed to comply with the requirements of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) in Saudi Arabia. It ensures businesses can configure tax, invoicing, and registration details to generate ZATCA-compliant invoices and reports.


Purpose

The ZATCA settings section enables organizations to:

  • Configure mandatory business and tax details.
  • Align with Saudi Arabia’s e-invoicing (FATOORA) regulations.
  • Manage certificate and encryption details (CSR, Public Key, CSID) for secure electronic invoicing.
  • Ensure all invoices meet government compliance for both B2B and B2C transactions.

Key Fields and Their Functions

1. Organization Name (Required)

  • The legal registered name of the business entity.
  • Used in all ZATCA-compliant invoices.

2. Common Name (Required)

  • A simplified or commonly known business name.
  • Appears on customer-facing invoices and receipts.

3. Organizational Unit Name (Required)

  • Defines a specific branch, division, or unit under the parent organization.
  • Useful for multi-branch operations.

4. Email Address (Required)

  • Official email address associated with the company.
  • Used for ZATCA registration and notifications.

5. Tax Number (Required)

  • Unique VAT/TIN number assigned by ZATCA.
  • Mandatory for e-invoicing compliance.

6. OTP (One-Time Password)

  • A security verification code.
  • Required during CSR (Certificate Signing Request) and integration processes.

7. Business Category (Required)

  • Type of business classification (e.g., Supermarket, Retail, F&B).
  • Helps in categorization for reporting.

8. Business Type (Required)

  • Defines invoicing mode:

    • B2B Invoices (Business-to-Business)
    • B2C Invoices (Business-to-Consumer)
    • Both (supports both transaction types)

9. Registered Address (Required)

  • The officially registered address of the business.

10. Street Name

  • The street name of the company’s registered location.

11. Building Number (Required)

  • Official building number linked to the company’s registered address.

12. Plot Identification

  • Plot number for precise location mapping.

13. City (Required)

  • City of business registration.

14. City Sub Division (Required)

  • Subdivision, area, or district where the company is located.

15. Postal Number (Required)

  • Postal code of the registered address.

Technical Configuration

At the bottom of the ZATCA settings, additional technical configurations are available:

  • Environment: Select production or testing environment.
  • CNF: Certificate configuration file.
  • Public Key: Encryption key for secure invoice signing.
  • CSR (Certificate Signing Request): Used for obtaining ZATCA-compliant certificates.
  • Production CSID: Certificate ID provided by ZATCA for live invoicing.

Actions

  • Save: Saves all entered details and synchronizes with ZATCA.
  • Add: Allows adding additional configurations for multi-branch or multi-unit setups.
